Axis Zeroes

All directions are referenced from the operator's point of view

Instance 0/Main Router

0X

Homes positive towards the Side Prep Router.  Works in the negative machine (G53) space.

Part Zero is center of the tool at the right edge of the door closest to the Side Prep router. 

Note that the tool can not move fully past the side of the door to touch off, so you will need to zero G54 another way.  Cut a line inside a scrap door(negative X space), and measure from the edge to set you G54 offset.

0Y:

Homes positive away from the operator.  Works in the negative machine (G53) space.

Part Zero is center of the tool at the top of the door closest to the operator.

0Z: 

Homes positive (Up).  Works in the negative machine (G53) space.

Part Zero is the tool at the top surface of the door.

0U (Clamp): 

Homes in place at the max open position.  Works in the negative machine (G53) space.

Part Zero is the far side of the clamp area.  So starting from the fixed side of the door or clamp area, the part position is the width of the door that would fill that space

 

 

 

Instance 1/Side Prep Router

1X (1XA and 1XB): (Two parallel slides with leading and following motors)

Homes negative towards the top of the Side Prep Router.  Works in the positive machine (G53) space.

Part Zero is center of the tool at the top of the door. 

Note that the tool can not move fully past the top of the door to touch off, so you will need to zero G54 another way.  Cut a line inside a scrap door(negative X space), and measure from the edge to set your G54 offset.

1Y:

Homes positive away from the operator.  Works in the negative machine (G53) space.
