Machine Overview
The wizard allows the operator to enter parameters that correspond to manufacturing orders, like cut type, bar type, grille length, finish options, etc. It calculates where the notches should go, and generates the G code for creating that part.
The machine feeds long, thin bars into the machining area, where they are notched, drilled, and cut to length.
Wizard
The wizard is common among all the saws. It understands the input parameters and calculates the precise locations of features on the part. Each parameter set can be queued as a "job." The wizard manages a job queue to manufacture the finished parts from a list of jobs in the queue. When each job is run, the wizard generates the G Code to manufacture the part.
Subroutines
Most of the machine-specific operational knowledge is located in the subroutines.
Pusher Clamps Synchronization
Because the raw bars are long and thin, they require clamping/support on the infeed side. These devices get in the way of the pusher/feeder, and so they will automatically disengage when the pusher/feeder is within a configurable distance (14", by default).
Settings (Parameters)
This customization has a number of configurable parameters associated with it. They can be modified in the MachMotion configuratation, with the filter "LCM" applied.
