Nuke Process

Installs Review for upgrades and full systems:

  • Notify the install department which system is ready for a review.
  • Make any necessary changes indicated.
  • Address any installation concerns.

Electrical Panel

  • Take a photo of  the Intime license code for customer backup.
  • Wires Pulled *if applicable.
  • UPS battery: move fuse to storage.
  • Labels on Enclosure, or in envelope if no enclosure.
  • MachMotion Label.
  • High Voltage Label.
  • Data Plate.
  • Yaskawa Sigma 7 drive sticker *if applicable.
  • Serial Number and Sales Order number sticker(not needed for knee mill).
  • Panel Nuts on and tight.
  • Fan Metal Guard Installed and Screws tight *if applicable.

Control QC

  • Ensure all motors are connected in Rapid Path.
  • Remove old Mach4 folders on the (C:) drive.
  • Verify that the X15-41-01 MPG Pendent has been added to MachMotion Plugin if it is on the BOM.
  • Shut down the PC and Test Reset button in PC Boot Mode.
  • Restart the PC and make sure it turns on normally.
  • Confirm Correct icons are on the desktop.
  • This PC shortcut.
  • Recycle Bin shortcut.
  • MachMotion Programs and drives folder shortcut.
  • Backup Program shortcut.
  • Customer Documentation.
  • Teamviewer(Rename: MachMotion Support).
  • Machine Type shortcut.
  • Post Processor (Alexsys, SheetCam, pronest.etc.)*if applicable.
  • VSI Device Manager.
  • Delete/relocate Desktop icons.
  • Relocate Desktop icons to MachMotion Programs and drives folder shortcut.
  • Sigma Win.
  • Adobe Acrobat.
  • RSI.
  • Pokey's.
  • GC Configurator.
  • Delete remaining icons from desktop.
  • Put a copy of the customers schematics on the USB thumb drive.
  • Put a MM 30 day timed license on control. Timed License
  • Remove old backups from backup file.
  • Run IO export from the production setup plugin... save as IO Final QC--C:\Mach4\DriveParameters\QC IO...Create QC IO folder if needed.
  • Run MachMotion APPLICATION Backup and copy to USB and Server.
  • Empty Recycle Bin.
  • Delete downloads.
  • Remove Chrome account Login.

Enclosure / Panel final steps

  • Tighten ground screws on Yaskawa drives.
  • Blow Out the Enclosure.
  • Install Apollo III cover, Zip tie Apollo to frame and attach tag.
  • Print and install tag to remind them to install the fuse on the UPC.
  • Install Duct Cover*if applicable.
  • Install Grounding straps on the doors.
  • Take a final picture for Marketing with all the covers on*if applicable (not needed for knee mill).
  • Print off updated customer schematics, Elec BOM and place in bag with. Zip tie to the panel.
  • ***Only for Chalmers and American Machine*** Print off connection list and put it with the schematics.
  • Disconnect Switch handle works/calibrated *if applicable.
  • Lock door and attach key to the door hinge*if applicable.
  • Check Fan Covers*if applicable.
  • Wipe Down Enclosure *if applicable.

Control final steps / Packaging

  • Install 8 position Phoenix connector.
  • Control top cover installed.
  • Clean.
  • Remove magnet labels.
  • Bag control.
  • Ship Keyboard tray assembly.
  • Pack Documentation Box.
  • Back covers and screws.
  • Keyboard and mouse.
  • Wi-Fi Antenna.
  • Wireless pendent.
  • Send INtime license card with the control in the document box.
  • Manuals.
  • Quick start tips.
  • MM promotional flyer.
  • Control Type Manual.
  • Motion Controller type *if applicable.
  • Machine Type Manual *if applicable.

Job Final steps

  • Log time in Odoo and closeout work orders.
  • Upload photos/video and rename final photo of the panel for marketing (“Final_PXL_2022...”) (not needed for knee mill).
  • Enter post action reports in Odoo.
  • Enter changes to the QC tasks template.
