For a A1000 or a GA500 or a GA800, also update the following parameters:
- H5-11 : 1 (Comm ENTER command not required)
Standard Setup
Load in Mach.
Spindle Load Input Scale Max is calculated as follows:
Spindle Load Input Scale Max = Rated VFD Current X (1/multiplier)
The multiplier is based on the VFD model number:
- 0.01 A units: B001 - B018, 2001 - 2042, 4001 - 4023
- 0.1A units: 2056 - 2082, 4031 - 4060
So a 2021 VFD has a .01 multiplier. Spindle Load Input Scale Max = 21 amps X (1/.01) = 2100.
Also, for the machine to wait for the spindle to reach the desired speed, make sure to check the Wait on spindle to stabilize.
