RapidPath: Unexpected Error (Exception raised in synchronous message handler) / Motion: no axis mapped
No drive/motor nodes found on the EtherCAT network!

Either of these errors indicates that there were no nodes on the EtherCAT network that RMP believes are an axis.

  1. Confirm that the network in started.
  2. Confirm that there are nodes on the network.
  3. Confirm that the nodes are axes (each should have at least one Axis object underneath it).

INtime

Node A will not start.
"
INtime Distribution license: full license - invalid"

The only thing that usually prevents the INtime node from starting is being unlicensed.

Newer versions of RMP require that we use a USB hardlock for the INtime licensing scheme. This allows RMP to use the same unique identifier for licensing as the hardlock.

  1. Verify that the USB hardlock is present and has a driver.
    1. (Windows Device Manager) Look for "SafeNet USB SuperPro/UltraPro" under "USB Devices"
