Cleanup Outgoing Control

Setup

Keyence won't just give us the software until they know that we're customers. You can download an update for the software, but not a new-install installer. We have one (v1.0.3) from the old control. That appears to be the latest version.

Configure connectivity to the controller. (Static IP: 192.168.208.70/24)

Bosch VideoJet VJE X40

Firefox + Java

Copy the Firefox+JRE portable install to the control. Verify that you can connect to the encoder.

Configure connectivity to the encoder. (Static IP: 192.168.208.75/24)

Cleanup

Remove tortoise SVN saved credentials and application

Remove port-forwarding rules and firewall exceptions

We created some port forwarding rules so that the laser controller and video encoder were using their production configuration (static IP addresses on the machine network) but were also accessible to developer machines while under development.

To clean up, remove the forwarding and firewall rules.
