CGS

This is primarily related to Banner Medical grinders #1 through #4. However, because of the experiences at Banner, CGS has established some default configuration settings:

1.       Reduce the torque on the upper slide to 100% (from the default of 800%) They do not have hard stops and the amount of torque generated by the motor the mechanics was very high, and capable of ripping the ball screw right out of the cast iron.

1. Limit torque on lower slide drives to 100% as a starting point, PN402 defaults to 800%. A mini USB tuning cable and the SigmaWin software will be needed to make that change.
2. find the drive, connect
3. select the parameters menu
4. find the PN402 and PN403 parameters, select them
5. Read from the servo
6. Update values from 800 to 100%
7. Write the values back to the servo
