Mach3 Shutting Down PC on Launch

A recent windows update has caused a bug in some Mach 3 controls which causes them to shutdown when the Mach software is launched.

Go into command prompt with administrator rights and run these two commands.

reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" /v FeatureSettingsOverride /t REG_DWORD /d 3 /f
reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" /v FeatureSettingsOverrideMask /t REG_DWORD /d 3 /f

(You can download a CMD script with these commands.)

Restart the computer for the changes to take effect.

(You do not have to change MinVmVersionForCpuBasedMitigations.)

If this does not work you will need to do this:

It appears the following security updates are the ones causing the issue:

NOTE: If you do not see the updates listed above, or after removing those are still having the issue, you can uninstall all recent updates, or sort by the name and uninstall the 3 highest number updates and try again and continue remove the 3 highest ones until it is solved.

This can be fixed by searching for [view installed updates] from the windows search box. From there you can sort by "Installed On" date and then uninstall recent ones as  you would uninstall a program
